StretchLab was created to help increase flexibility, range of motion and energy in people no matter what their age, body type or fitness level! StretchLab New Canaan offers one on one assisted stretching and group stretch classes in a fun, open and communal environment. Our one on one stretches can be 25 or 50 minutes long and we offer drop-in or monthly memberships. All of our flexologists are highly trained and create a custom stretch routine for each member. Our innovative group stretches offer a unique way for members to reach their flexibility goals. Group stretches can be purchased individually or as a monthly membership.
I am a Flexologists who doubles as a yoga & aerial arts instructor. With a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Nutrition, mind and body connection is the main goal in all my sessions.
I have had over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as a certified personal trainer and as a group fitness instructor. My philosophy focuses on continual learning as I work towards enhancing the well-being of my clients. I continually aim to use all my collective knowledge, skills and resources to empower and inspire each and every client on their journey towards a healthier life.
I come from a massage therapy background, specializing in sports/recovery. I enjoy going to the gym, hiking and practicing martial arts, and thus I have a great respect for the importance of stretching and staying limber.
I have been a fitness enthusiast for many years. I have over 13 years experience as a barre instructor and I practice yoga as well. I can attest that stretching is a very important part of the process to a healthier lifestyle. Whether to improve flexibility, sports performance, posture and balance or to reduce muscle and joint pain, stress or simply relax, everyone can benefit. I am looking forward to helping you reach your goals!
As a yoga instructor, lifelong student of dance and trained classical singer, I know how stretching the body enhances artistic, sports and everyday performance. I share my understandings of these disciplines with my StretchLab clients. I enjoy working with children and adults. Lo has over 10 years experience in the fitness and wellness industry. She is a certified aerial fitness instructor and NASM certified personal trainer with a BA in Exercise Science & Wellness. She takes her clients fitness and wellness to new heights in her aerial fitness fusion classes by training them on the importance of mobility, flexibility, alignment and strength. Her passion for helping others live their best life through movement has led her to join the Stretch Lab team. She looks forward to working with you on your journey to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
David comes to us with a chiropractic background, with a major in Health Sciences. He understands human physiology and how important stretching is for everyone. He looks forward to providing all of his clients the stretch they need to continue living a healthier lifestyle.
